Come and play the course that mother nature created. Tremendous
vistas are bound only by rock wall crisscrossing fairways with
sheep grazing among the windswept hills. This is the truest representation
of an Irish Links course in America and has already been compared
to Shinnecock, Ballybunion and Royal Country Down, a few of the
world's greatest.
When you stand on the first tee it will be clear that you are
in a very special place. Number 7 at Royal New Kent is not only
one of the most alluring holes in golf, it could be one of the
best par 3's in the country. The tee shot is played from an elevation
nearly 20 feet above a deep crevasse where the green is edged
by a creek and tall grass blows in the wind. It is certainly a
must play course while in Williamsburg.
