Kingsmill Resort and Spa has 54 holes of championship golf that are enjoyable to golfers of all skill levels. In 2004 the River course added a new chapter to it's already distinguished history. Original architect Pete Dye returned to Kingsmill to oversee changes to the River Course layout and green complexes. The renovation included, resurfacing of the greens, addition of tee boxes and new fairway bunkering on several holes. The River Course served as a PGA Tour site for 22 years and is currently home to the LPGA tour's Michelob ULTRA Open.
The Plantation Course is an Arnold Palmer design that challenges players of all skill levels. The course rewards accurate iron play and good putting. Fairway landing areas are generous, but water comes into play on eight holes. Once on the putting surface, undulations and swales make getting down in two a satisfying accomplishment.
Golf course architect Tom Clark designed our third golf course, The Woods Course, an instant hit with all golfers. Shortly after opening, GOLF magazine deemed the Woods Course one of the "Top Ten New Courses Available for Public Play." The Woods Course has an interesting mix of long and short holes, giving golfers the opportunity to use every club in their bag. The Woods Course is a delight to play, time after time.
