A feeling of serenity exists where nature is undisturbed. With
the surroundings of holly trees, hardwoods and mountain laurel
overlooking Mill Creek it is certainly a course to be appreciated.
The course plays to a par of 72 and features five sets of tees
ranging from 4579 to 6908 yards, thus offering options for player¦s
of all abilities. For the beginners there is a practice course,
with three regulation practice holes (a par 3,4 and 5) that will
offer the opportunity to gain playing experience. For the more
experienced golfer the practice course will offer a chance to
warm up/practice before that all important game.
There is a 40 station practice tee with target fairways and greens,
practice green side and fairway bunkers, chipping green and putting
green are all located within 100 yards of The Colonial's first
tee.
The course above all is a player's course at any handicap. It
proves to be challenging and fun while also providing a memorable
golf experience.
The professional
staff and clubhouse with its full service restaurant are there
